Festival One is New Zealand’s largest Christian music festival, centred around music, art, faith and camping gatherings. Featuring a lineup of international and local New Zealand bands and artists, it is a cultural event that combines the scale of a major music festival with the community experience of outdoor camping.

For this event, the stage truss system — including the LED backdrop truss and extension structures — is built primarily with our TT45 series truss (vertical columns), TS54 series truss (horizontal beams), TT SB sleeve bases, TT BP base plates and a full range of matching accessories.
The custom-engineered TS54 conical coupler straight truss beams feature five internal reinforced main tubes, which significantly boost load capacity and bending strength. This design safely supports large-format, high-weight LED video walls and maintains a perfectly flat, stable display for the audience.
The ingeniously designed reinforced cross beams enable fully integrated rigging: alongside LED video walls, sound reinforcement systems such as line arrays can be hung directly from the structure. This all-in-one audio-visual rigging solution not only streamlines stage space layout, but also delivers simultaneous visual impact and immersive audio performance.
Paired with height-adjustable levelling feet on the base plates, the support structure can be fine-tuned for precise, stable contact with the ground, establishing a solid safety foundation across variable outdoor terrain.

The WTC LED backdrop truss and extension system reliably handles the heavy load requirements of heavy-duty stage equipment. Its proven deployment at major music festivals demonstrates the critical role of professional stage structures in elevating large-scale outdoor event experiences — technology that works unseen, in service of immersive cultural celebrations.
