As a world-renowned reggae-pop band, UB40 from the UK has taken the world by storm with classic hits such as Red Red Wine and Can't Help Falling in Love. For the Wellington stop of their global Kingston Calling 2026 tour, the band set extremely high standards for stage acoustics and structural safety: ensuring audiences could clearly experience the rich texture of reggae rhythms, while achieving high efficiency in both rapid setup and long-distance transportation. This created a typical application scenario for professional stage trusses.

In the stage system for this tour, WTC TT54 heavy-duty aluminum truss was selected as the core vertical support component. Manufactured from EN AW-6082 T6 high-strength aluminum alloy, this truss series features a main tube specification of 50×4 mm and a cross-section of 520×520 mm. It delivers exceptional torsional stiffness and load-bearing capacity, perfectly meeting the long-term heavy-duty requirements of large-scale touring stages.

The stage employs four TT54 trusses as vertical supports, forming a stable supporting system with matching steel structures to hold up the overhead roof trussing, laying a solid mechanical foundation for the entire stage.
